So finally I am feeling ready to go on my trip.

- Vaccines: check! I have been a pin cushion to protect my self from DEATH!!! Yellow fever, polio booster, Typhoid, Hepatitis A, Meningitis.
Thank goodness I already had the rest: Hepatitis B, MMR, Tetanus.
- Malaria prophylaxis: check! I decided on Doxycycline. It is once a day and in my opinion the side effect of my concern is the photo-sensitivity. But the others have in my opinion worse.
For all the above injections I am grateful to the Doctor Express, Urgent Care Center on Route One in Saugus Massachusetts. What a wonderful group of professionals. Very kind and compassionate. They looked up what I would need. Special ordered some of the vaccines. Also the Walgreens on Route One in Saugus was amazing. Thanks to all of them.
- Supplies: check! The military quality mosquito net, the water treatment tablets, military grade flashlight, mosquito coils, DEET spray from the Army Barracks store on Route One. Very helpful and excellent customer service.

As I am doing all these protective measures, feeling so excited to go and carry out my life's calling, I also remember the responsibility I feel towards the women and children of the world who do not have the availability of the vaccines, the malaria prophylaxis and much less the cash to purchase them and the supplies.

I feel so honored to be a part of this great work. Thank you CMMB for asking me to run the Safe Motherhood program in South Sudan. Thank you to all the wonderful people that have help form me into the person I am today.
Sorry for the delayed entry. I should have written it weeks ago.
